Stephanie Kingsnorth, AIA, LEED AP

Principal

Stephanie, who joined the firm in 1994 (as Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer Associates), leads our work in building transformations, preservation and re-use. This includes not only restoring and expanding some of the country’s most beloved historical treasures, such as Griffith Observatory, but also working with academic institutions, such as Colorado College, the University of Southern California and the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), to re-energize historic and mid-century buildings, bringing them new life. She also plays a leadership role in many of the firm’s student life facilities, including residence halls, student unions and maker spaces, in addition to academic libraries. Stephanie is a member and frequent speaker with the Association of College Unions International, has served as President and Vice-President of Advocacy for the Los Angeles Conservancy, and is a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. In 2009, Stephanie was recognized as a top “40 Under 40” rising star in the AED community by Building Design + Construction.
