Pfeiffer to Design Gonzaga University's New Woldson Performing Arts Center
March 15, 2015
Pfeiffer has been engaged to design the new Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center, which will be located on the west campus of Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. The proposed center, which will house the university's music, theater and dance programs, will feature a 750-seat performance venue, a 150-seat theater/recital hall, faculty studios, an art gallery and performer support. The facility will also contain a multi-disciplinary design stuido, as well as a recreation of the sitting rooms from Myrtle Woldson's house—a museum-like series of spaces that will serve as a tribute to the new facility's principal benefactor.
