We are proud to announce that Jessica Deaver, a young designer in our firm, has been accepted as one of 60 emerging professionals, architectural leaders and entrepreneurs to participate in the Practice Innovation Lab, hosted by the AIA’s Young Architects Forum. The two-day event, which takes place in October, is focused on exploring ideas to redefine the practice of architecture and to move the profession forward. The event will be held near Washington DC at the Crystal City campus of 1776 Startup Incubator, a global incubator whose members are bringing new technologies and entirely new business models to market. Combining storytelling, architecture and her belief in land stewardship, Jessica’s graduate and professional work reflect her passion and commitment to ecological design.
